Beauty pageants are considered to be a huge deal by many and I never understood the importance till I was actually participating in one. There was a beauty pageant in school and I was nominated by my friends to be a part of it. When I saw the other contestants, I was shocked because most of them looked like those anorexic models in the cover of famous fashion magazines. I knew that I never stood a chance until I took up some fast weight loss program. I considered the options in front of me and I was not very happy because I had to either go in for surgery or take up pills.
I did not have enough time for the surgery and I was not in favor of the pills because I knew a girl who fell really sick due to such pills. When I was surfing the internet for some good diet, I found this age and weight chart from this website and then worked on it rigorously. The diet and exercise not only reduced a few of my pounds but also increased my flexibility. I was so convinced that I looked the best in the pageant as I looked a whole lot healthier than any other contestant there. And I was just too happy when I won the title as the hard work paid off.
